Flowers, the way the garden gives them.
A neighborhood florist on the corner of Atlantic and Hoyt. Garden-style arrangements, weekly subscriptions, and event work across the five boroughs and the Hudson Valley.
About the shop
Hoyt & Holly is a small flower shop on the ground floor of an 1860s row house in Cobble Hill. Holly Markham opened the door in the spring of 2017 after five years apprenticing under garden-style florists in Greenpoint and the Hudson Valley. The shop is one room, one cold case, one long zinc table, and a back garden where the herbs run wild from April to October.
Our work leans loose, generous, and a little wild. We buy from small growers in the Hudson Valley and New Jersey through most of the year, supplemented by a handful of trusted importers when the local season runs thin. We do not stock dyed carnations, glitter spray, or anything that arrives in a foam cage.
Walk in for a market bunch on a Friday afternoon. Pre-order an arrangement for someone you love. Subscribe and let Holly choose for you. Bring us your wedding, your dinner, the long table at your mother's birthday. We will make it smell like the right month.

Weddings, Dinners, Memorials
We take a small number of weddings, dinners, and memorials each year so the work stays personal. Holly leads every event from the first walk-through to the last broom sweep. We work with the season you book into, never against it. Inquiries open six to nine months out; we book about a dozen weddings a year and never more than one in a weekend.
